Monday you kill me.

Holy macaroni it has been a long time since I've been able to blog. I have to say it has been on my mind. I've thought about posting things here and there but never actually sat down to do it. So here I am on my phone writing this post.

So why does Monday kill me?? I'm going to go on a homemaker rampage here and if you don't want to read complaining just leave now. I feel maybe someone out there can relate.  So every weekend nothing gets done in our house, in fact because everyone is home playing and doing things the mess just piles up. The laundry, the dishes, the toys and clothes. Yes the clothes! How does so much clothes accumulate in the living room!?   Come Sunday I just want to rest and not do anything so it all gets neglected.

Monday arrives. Send the kindergartner to school (the hubs does) and I usually wake up to make sure nothing is forgotten (you know hair and teeth brushed, make sure he has lunch if he doesn't like the school lunch, etc) Hubs goes to work and Leaves the princess and I in this mess.  So every Monday I just get overwhelmed with the work that needs to be done. I think preparing for a baby to come kind of intensifies that feeling because I want to start getting a space for her and her clothes and clean a space in our master room for a bassinet. Don't even get me started on our master bedroom! Oh. My gosh!! It's a nesting mothers worst nightmare!!

So that is my rant I feel like other house moms can relate. Rant with me please!!

Despite the overwhelmingness of it all I am so very grateful I have time to work on it. I have the whole week to work on a bit at a time. Until Saturday comes and it all gets mucked up again!!!   Anyone that says a housewife does nothing is crazy! And if a housewife does nothing it catches up with her til eventually she can't just do nothing. Unless she wants to live in chaos and filth. I'm just not that person.  I'm a little more understanding of kids toys that get everywhere, while they are young it's just going to be that way.  I mean, I do want my kids to enjoy home and have fun and sometimes mess comes with fun. I just wish everyone did a better job of cleaning up their mess after fun!!

So Monday you kill me! Every week, the day I dread the most!

Hope everyone is having a better Monday!!
